Lindsi's Baby Shower

Friday James got home, and then Saturday we spent with Lindsi for her baby shower! Her friends did an AMAZING job throwing the part for her. It was so cute and perfect for baby sipp :) I also know that baby sipp is going to be completely spoiled!

How Cute is She??

Lindsi's Friend who put the whole thing together!

The Best game.... You guess what features the mom wants baby to get, either from mom or dad.

She got the cutest bookshelf that matches perfectly for baby sipp's room!

They loved the man diaper bag!

HAHAHAHAHAHA funniest part of the day!!

Nerd frog blanket... fit her perfectly!

And lastly, texas longhorns hat.

This girl and baby were spoiled, and deserved every minute of it! I am so glad I was able to be there!!! Thank you Lindsi, Josh, and baby sipp for sharing this amazing day with us!

Welcome Home Elder Cook!

This last weekend, we are able to go to Idaho Falls and see James get home from him mission. I didn't think I would be as excited as I was! I sat pacing deciding if I should run up and hug him or sit back and "capture moments." Of course, taking pictures won, but I was still so excited to see him and can't believe he is already home!

Braelyn and Ren patiently waiting and hoping to see James fly in!

Welcome Home ELDER!!!!
 The Three Cousins!
 James and Mom hugging!

Finally! he is Here!!!!

We couldn't be more thrilled to have Elder Cook Home!!!

Lets Just say. What an Emotional/Good Day!

The night ended perfectly. Let me start with the fact that Elder Cook had to come home just a tid bit early because he needs shoulder surgery :( So it was somewhat of a sad day. When he got home, he had to stay by my dad's side until he was released at 5:30. So this means we tagged along with him and my dad the rest of the day. Him being released was the most perfect part of the day.  I only say this because of how amazing the feeling was there. I am so proud of him and all he has done!

Once a father, always a father!

I love these men more than anything. I am so grateful for my dad and brother and how big of examples they are to me! Thank you James for letting me be a part of your big day!

Enjoying the down time at Grandpa's and Grandma Kirstens!

Like Father Like Son.

The Weekend

Friday morning we woke up and had a perfect morning. Ren made us breakfast on the grill, and then we had a long talk! We finally decided to hurry up to pocatello so we could see a bunch of family this weekend.
Saturday we had lunch with my dad, and of course, we had to do photography stuff! I made him go with me and show me some more tricks with the camera. So I got some pictures with him and Brae, while I practiced on my white balance.

I am so grateful for a dad who cares. truly cares beyond belief.  All it takes is a hug and his whole day is made. So glad to have him in my life.
Then we went over to great grams and gramps for a dinner and celebration for them! It was {SO} great to see everyone! Braelyn became good friends with Lexa.

Excuse the dark picture, but Braelyn was loving talking with Aunt Susan. She loved that she had a grandson named Braylen. (Same name as hers just spelt a bit different). She kept looking at her pictures of him, and kept talking to her about him.

We had to try to at least get one picture with great grandpa.
Best Day! We all had water balloons, and played a little capture the flag! At the end, it turned more into a water fight then anything. Ren and I were SOAKED! but overall, I loved spending time with them! So Glad Lexa and McKell came and played with us!

4th of July

Our 4th of July Started off by a parade in the afternoon. Just like the last parade we went to, Braelyn LOVED it!
We Are {Dreaming} of the day we can own a RZR.

Best Idea Ever? Throw popsicles at parades! We enjoyed it down to the last bit :)

After The parade was over, we hurried home and got ready for Roaring Springs. Its been a family tradition for the past few years. Braelyn went on her first slide all by herself, and of course.... I missed my chance to take a picture. After that, she wouldn't do it again!

Lastly, our night ended at home. We cooked up some dinner and then went outside to do some fireworks.

Smoke bomb's came first :)

Then sparklers!

Thank you Pinterest :) Braelyn was able to do sparklers all by herself!

Hope everyone had a perfect 4th of July like we did!
