[Rexburg Weekend]

Again, I started this blog to keep track of everything that is happening in my life. This is because I am the worst scrapbooker, journaler, note keeper! Although, I can't get my pictures loaded on my computer, so as for now I will just post about the weekend, and later I will add pictures from the weekend.

This past weekend was a crazy weekend! We began the weekend by leaving Friday for Idaho Falls. We were able to stop and see my dad and have dinner at Subway! I am so grateful for him and everything he has done for me. We had our rough moments, and of course families do. But at the same time, he has always been one I can call and rely on no matter what happens. All of his talks with me, moments trying to help me become a better person, and all of the times he loved me unconditionally.  I am so grateful for him and who he has been in our lives! He also let us borrow his camera equipment, and I couldn't be more excited!

After dinner, we drove up to Rexburg and watched Rilez play some basketball! Boy was that fun! I love watching this kid play. His talent is beyond believable. As cheesy as it sounds, I am so grateful for the brother-sister relationship that we have formed! He is so fun to hang out with and I couldn't be more grateful!

After the basketball game, we went to Mcdonald's with Uncle Gary and were able to to see him! He is so fun to be around, and I wish we could see him, Lisa, McKell, and Lex more! I have just known them for the past few years and they have been nothing but accepting to me!

We finally got back to the hotel room at 1 in the morning (LATE night). I am so grateful for Ronald and Kiki. Not only for all of the times they have bailed my little family out when we get into a rut, but for all of the love they give to us. They are nothing but sincere and kind, and have been there through thick and thin for us!

The next morning we attended basketball games bright and early! We were able to see Lindsi and Josh there also! I LOVE seeing these two! I love how much fun Josh and I have together, our jokes NEVER get old! Just like earning those dollar bills :) I also love getting together with Lindsi. She has to be the nicest most caring person I think I have ever met! We have so much fun when they are around, and it isn't the same when they are gone! It also amazes me at how good she is with Brae. I love how much she plays with her, loves her, and cares for her! I can only image the mother she is going to be and look up to her all of the time!

After Riley's basketball games, we went to lunch with Grams and Gramps. They are so funny! It is also amazing to see how much they care about family, and what they do for Brae.

We were also able to see Gramps Boyd. That was really good too! It makes me sad to know that family won't be around forever, but I am so grateful for these grandparents too!

After that, we were able to stop by my dad's again and see Uncle David. A little background on my dad's side of the family. It is rare when we all get together, but when we do, I realize how much I have missed every single one of them! We stopped by to see David, that man has probably been to hell and back, and still amazes me how happy he is and caring he is. Despite the "chex mix" he makes me, I am so grateful he is my uncle and wish I could see more of him!

The rest of the weekend was pretty lazy. I gained probably 15 pounds by all of the delicious food from the weekend. Our sippy sliders were amazing! We had chicken with homemade BBQ sauce, Winger's sticky finger salad, pizza, and more sticky finger salad!

The best part about the whole weekend was being able to go with my cute little family (Ren and Brae). I am so grateful for these two in my life! Ren had been there for me since day one! He has bent over backward to make me happy, he works extremely hard for our family, and he always makes me laugh. I don't ever show him enough how grateful I really am for the amazing husband that he has been! I am also grateful for little Brae Brae. She has been the best little girl in the entire world! We literally lucked out with her! She has been nothing but sweet and amazing. My love for her grows stronger and stronger every day!

Some times I forget how truly lucky I am. How amazing life truly is. Then weekends like this happen and I am so grateful for the wonderful family I have. I truly am one lucky girl. My life is perfect, hard at times, but completely PERFECT!

Captain's Classic 2013

This year for Ronald's Birthday, we had a Captain's Classic golf tournament. It started Saturday morning at 8:30. We first were given "Binders" that laid out the plans for the weekend. We were also given "Swag Bags." We had golf balls, tees, driving range token, shirts, and diet coke!

Then after we all got ready for the day, we went to McDonalds for Breakfast. After breakfast, we went to the driving range and worked on our golf shot. It was extremely fun to have all of us there :) Braelyn was loving cleaning all of Ren's clubs.

Lindsi had her 7-iron down!

Then after the driving range, we went back to the house and had lunch. We related everything to golf :) The joke in our house is about the dos equis commercials. To us, they are so funny! So we bought root beer bottles and made labels for them that looked like dos equis :)

Then lastly we went golfing. Braelyn loved drinking the diet coke. All of the boys wore their blue captain's classic polos and the girls wore their pink ones :) We split up into teams, but ended up tying.

One of the funnies moments of the night. Riley decided it was time to be funny. So he pulled up his pants like a grandpa and started talking like one. He then had to try and make a shot, so he looked at his line to putt.....

He then lined up to putt the ball........

He then hit the ball......

and MADE it! haha this is the ball falling into the hole!

He then had to have a celebration walk :)

Brae kept running off, and then she finally ran under the tree to hide. Her daddy went in to play with her under there!

After, we had an award ceremony and dinner. The day was completely perfect!

Happy Birthday Captain (Ronald).

Utah!

{Dream Come True}

Ren's Cousin got married in Utah, so it was a perfect excuse to make a shopping weekend out of :) We also used it as an excuse for Lindsi's birthday party celebration. The drive was perfect, it was a long 6 hour drive.... but Ren and I enjoyed every minute of it!

We were able to go to temple square, the boys went golfing, and us girls got to go shopping! Perfect weekend :)
